Our Mission
The mission of Fredericksburg Cooperative preschool is to provide a developmentally appropriate, play-based preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds focusing on the whole child. Using a
center-based, individual choice model and a thematic curriculum, we support hands-on learning, exploration, and the natural curiosity of preschoolers.
Our program focuses on the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of children while helping to build positive character traits and strong interpersonal communication skills among our students.
Through teaching empathy and encouraging kindness, we celebrate differences and form a caring community of compassionate young learners. As a school led by our membership, we strive to foster a loving environment that embraces each individual student and all of our participating families.
